TIN Youth Group

Filmmaker Alina Akbar worked with our This Is Nelson Youth Group over the course of two months. Alina inspired and supported the young people to write poetry that addressed their experiences of living in Nelson, the good & the bad. This was then narrated by the young people to form the basis of a film.

Alina then taught the young people to prepare for filming, creating shot-lists and the technical skill required to operate three different types of camera.
