In-Situ's Board members are volunteers, including artists, creative and business professionals and people who live and work in Pendle. The board also includes one paid person from the core team.

We have a rotating Chair at our meetings and working groups for supporting the work of the core team. Our Board members share knowledge and interests and offer mentoring and advice where needed. They also play a part in co-shaping the policy, practice and collective vision of In-Situ and our flat organisational structure, which we explore together at two annual staff and board days.

We are currently working on how to align In-Situ's governance more closely with the Fluid Structure, revising the format of meetings and documents, the language we use and enabling more reflection and collective decision-making.
