Brierfield

Working in collaboration with local resident, Paul Fyles and the alternative energy engineering Co-op, V3 Power, Kerry Morrison developed a kinetic, site-specific, energy generating sculpture. Situated on the old water tower at Brierfield Mill, Rain Sheds Light was developed from the existing water wheels on-site and occurred in two iterations. The second iteration, co-produced by Hannah Stringer, generated enough energy to power the mill clock for Ringing in the Good News (2015 project).
