Home 1947 was a major film work installation by two-time Academy Award-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Marking the 70th anniversary of the largest mass migration ever witnessed, during which more than 10million people were displaced during the creation of two new independent states, India and Pakistan, in 1947. The walkthrough installation included a VR experience of homes in Pakistan and India.
