Two large windows with curved tops show a dusk sky, people are silhouetted in both. Text says: am I a refugee? Am I a human being? Who am I? That's my situation, there's no way out

Pendle

As part of the Liverpool Biennial Touring Programme, In-Situ hosted Krzysztof Wodiczko’s installation-film work, Guests, at Northlight (Brierfield) Mill. The work, which explores immigrants arriving in Europe, was originally commissioned for the 53rd Venice Biennale and shown at the Liverpool Biennial 2016. Accompanying the installation was a series of discussions, as Krzysztof spent a week in Pendle engaging with the town’s diverse community and regional policy-makers to consider wider issues of immigration and the displacement of people around the world. This project was delivered in collaboration with FACT, Liverpool, who originally hosted the work.
