Dear Reader

Whilst based in Brierfield Library, In-Situ responded to the lack of books about arts and culture through developing an arts library. In-Situ invited artists from across the world (including places such as Pendle, USA and Pakistan) to submit a list of their favourite books. Made up of donations and books bought from the lists submitted, In-Situ began creating what would go onto become our current Art Library. Whilst based from Brierfield Library, the new collection of books was accompanied by a reading room. This project was supported by interns Elly Langlois and Hannah Stringer.
