Sherds is a full-scale touring performance based on Five Verses on Six Sacks of Earth, a micro opera by artists Nastassja Simensky and Rebecca Lee. The Performance is carried out with sound-emitting sculptures, furniture, live projection and vocals and is inspired, in part, by the process of an archaeological dig at Malkin Tower Farm, Pendle, in 2018. This work was developed whilst Rebecca and Nastassja were artist-in-residence at In-Situ.
