CRASH 2016

CRASH 2016 was a week-long residential for emerging artists, featuring presentations and activity to better equip artists at the beginning of their career to become self-sufficient and better understand their career options. The 18 emerging artists stayed together at a local camping site and collaborated to create new work in response to Brierfield Mill, as they used The Garage as a hub. Its key motive was to provide an opportunity for emerging artists to build strong relationships with one another and develop a sustained network across the UK and Europe. This project was initiated by intern Elly Langlois and, during CRASH 2016, we first met Jasper (aka Jin Bells) who went on to become an In-Situ intern.

This project was funded by - Awards 4 All
