Open Call for International Artist Residency
In-Situ x Art of Small Talk

Art of Small Talk in collaboration with In-Situ are offering an international arts residency experience, supported by the British Council.
We invite creatives across multidisciplinary practices from both Pakistan and the UK to participate in a community engaged residency together. Pakistani artists must be based in the twin cities of Islamabad & Rawalpindi and UK artists must be based in, or have strong connection to, Lancashire.
The residency will take place in two parts: part one in Islamabad, Pakistan; part two in Nelson, UK.
We are looking for artists who are interested in exploring how language behaves in bringing together, or pushing apart generations, geographic locations, stories of family and heritage.
Who should apply to this call: This residency invites creatives working across most disciplines, including visual artists, writers, musicians, performance artists, designers, researchers & curators.
Work during the residency will be developed in Islamabad, which will later be showcased in Nelson, UK.
